Kozlović Teran

West Istria, Croatia.

Tasting notes: Quite intense, youthful on the nose, fruity, with primary aromas of the grapes, showing an interplay of dark red and black fruits such as sour cherry and black cherry. A touch of violets, cranberries, even bananas, and dried herbs. Well knitted, with nicely balanced spiciness.

Dry on the palate, with typically high freshness for 100% Teran. Tannins are on a lower side of the scale. Medium bodied with some black pepper notes and coffee detected on the palate. There is a nice flavour intensity on the palate, followed by a medium long finish. Very enjoyable, nicely vibrant, and pleasurable.
