Aged for a minimum of 24 months, with at least half of this time being spent in oak. The Avignonesi 2019 was matured in Slavonian oak botti, and French oak barriques and tonneaux for a period of 18 months followed by six months in bottle before release. The wine displays ripe fruit notes of red cherry, plum and pomegranate with floral hints of violet and background notes of vanilla and tomato leaf. Well balanced with finely wrought, elegant tannins.
