Tasting notes: A classic earthy and well-developed wine that has a lovely aroma of red cherries, blackberry, cedar, spices, truffle and oak. The palate has surprisingly ripe fruit, tobacco and gamey notes on the light-bodied palate. It is ready and delivering. Broad and evolved yet keeping the Remoriquet trademark style of low extraction, high acidity, very fine but crunchy tannins. A very complex sip that lingers well with some acidity still present and grippy tannin. This is drinking well now and should be enjoyed soon.
